Fiery Italian journalist causes stir by condemning Arafat, European left

'She lashed out at the Vatican for fostering a pro-Palestinian bias, saying — among other things — that she found it "shameful that in the name of Jesus Christ (a Jew without whom today they would all be out of work) the priests of our parishes or social centers or whatever they are, flirt with the assassins of those in Jerusalem who can´t go out for pizza or to buy eggs without being blown up."

She lambasted the left for forgetting the sacrifices Jews made in Italy´s struggle against fascism, and for becoming opportunistic lackeys to a "stupid, cowardly, dishonest" political correctness.

Yet her most damning invective was saved for Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat. Fallaci branded the Palestinian leader a 'nullity who, thanks to money from the Saudi royal family, plays Mussolini ad perpetuum and in his megalomania thinks he´s passing for the George Washington of Palestine.'

Orriana got older and smarter. She interviewed Arafat, Castro and many other leftists back in the 1970's. For Playboy and others. She met up with Arafat and his homosexual East German bodyguards in one memorable Playboy interview that I wish I still had.

Thanks Orianna!!! Remain in light!!!
