Thanks for your reply, GeronL.
This is an article about a statewide initiative to purge the voter rolls, and about lists that were handed down to the counties by the Florida Secretary of State. This is not about a few counties, but statewide, and it appears that the State officials who ordered the purge were not very careful about making sure that the rights of legitimate voters were protected. --Smaturin

Every few years states purge voter roles, because some people die, some people move and some people stop voting. Thats why people register to vote.

lol. All they have to do is register. States are supposed to make sure to keep dead people, felons and those who moved from the state off the rolls.
