But I understand. This thread is a real pressure cooker. Why don't you come back after you've had a little time to put this all in perspective?
Guess again. You're way off base here. You're talking to a 43 year old married mother of two teenagers who had to go back to work and is working paycheck to paycheck because I had to take out a loan to pay back mortgage payments and taxes on my parents house. Who just had to purchase a car in my name for my parents. Do you want to know why? Probably not but it's the IRS.
Eight years ago my father had a business that was doing very well and my then 16 year old brother got very ill and both of his kidneys failed. My dad donated a kidney. He wasn't in the best of health then and the donating of the kidney was much harder on him than they thought it would be. He wasn't able to work for a year. He lost his business and they lost their home. Do you think the IRS cared when it came time to pay the taxes for the year? Not one damn bit.
Do you know what the IRS does when you don't pay your taxes for the year because you have thousands and thousands of dollars in medical expenses because you're self-employed and you haven't got terrific health care coverage. They put a lien on your home, your car, your business. You're out of business. Then the next year when you try to start up again do you think anybody will give you credit to do so. Fat chance. So that interest and penalties just keep growing and growing and growing.
So you chose, you pay the medical bills to the best of your ability because after all, you have to keep sending the kid back to the hospital for follow ups and you'd like it if he actually got admitted.
Then, four years later when he rejects the kidney that was donated and is back in dialysis three times a week and you're trying to help him pay off his student loans because he can't work a full time job due to spending that many hours in the hospital do you think the IRS cares? Bull - they don't give a crap what happens to you or your kids. So I'm fully aware of what the IRS can and will do to get their pound of flesh.
That's why people like Klayman make me so mad over this. Hard working people that are just trying to pay their mortgage and keep their kid from dying are hung out to dry and Larry gets to fight an audit for four years because he's a big hitter. He's got the money and the clout to fight it and the average Joe doesn't.
And buy lots of ammo. Screw the irs.
Play the rules on your game. Get it?
God has a different destiny for each person and for Larry Klayman, perhaps it is his destiny to fight against corruption and be a "big hitter." I think that God has really blessed Judicial Watch over the years for their hard work and diligence.
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and abuse ..(old opener)
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the non-profit educational foundation that investigates and prosecutes government corruption...(new opener)
Could that have something to do with the fact that the lion share of the donations taken in did not go to "investigate and prosecute government corruption and abuse" as stated?
After what you and your family have been through, it must be pretty pathetic to see a bunch like Judicial Watch pleading the Fifth Amendment. And to then claim that it is required to do so in order to protect people like you.
You've really put this cover-up in perspective, I think.
Don't jump threads - If you get involved in an argument in one thread, it's considered poor manners to restart the previous argument in the middle of an unrelated thread.
