I think the blowback from this is going to be terrible.
What is the worst thing is the lopsided support of Israel, extorted through lobbyists and hardball political blackmail, has caused us terrible damage to our reputation as an honest broker. Too many mistakenly think that America is waging war against them by proxy Israel. They do not understand the nature of power politics and AIPAC and ADL lobbying to name but two.

A calculated slime job on Israel. Bush and Powell have not bought it that's for sure. Americans are too smart for that.

War is terrible - but there are rules. Did Israel observe them?

LMBO !!!
Sure, hahahaha, Israel should "observe the rules" as much as your typical Palestinian bomber who takes out a pizza joint or a wedding reception. Another journalistic masterpiece from the euro-scum, hahaha.

So the next time the isrealis go into a west bank town, do it like the US would do. Use your air force and level the area.

Stop trying to limit the "innocent" ccauslities.

If you are going to be blamed for war crimes you should probably go ahead an do it.

IE no more mister nice guy.

Certainly killing women and children can never be justified but when they are being used as human shields by the lowest form of humanity there is little choice but to go in and do the job and worry about collateral damage later.

When non-combatants die, that is not proof that their killers broke the law, but the onus is on the attackers to show that they tried to spare civilians

Wow, this piece is chock full of nuggets like this, lol. What planet do these writers come from? Can you just see one of these pathetic mice asking a terrorist if he can prove that he "tried to spare civilians"?

Anyways, GO ISRAEL ! Finish the job.

Hate to tell you this, but we never asked to be an "honest broker". Bush wanted to stay completely out of this and he succeeded until the Arab leaders pushed him into sending Powell. Once Powell got to see it for himself, the decision was easier. You can not be for the middle ground when you are dealing with terrorists, and Arafat and his minions are terrorists. Not "noble warriors" fighting for independence, they are murderers and thugs.

Who cares what the world thinks of us or what they think of Israel. They all hate Americans anyway (until they need their sorry butts bailed out, then suddenly they "love" us).

One thing the Arab street has taught Americans is that they hate our guts, so we don't have to worry about what they think anymore.

Israel will never commit war crimes, because they remember how it was in the Hollocaust. All of these journalists who even flirt with the idea that Israel commited war crimes should be taken out and beat.

The army says the dead were left for so long because Palestinians refused to gather them, "for propaganda purposes", a brigadier told Haaretz. A Palestinian doctor seethes with rage. "We could not leave our homes and the army refused to let any medic, Palestinian or foreign, into the camp for five days. How on earth could we remove them?"

"Leave your homes and we'll shoot you. We're fighting terrorism"

"Filthy Palestinians! They're leaving the bodies there for propaganda purposes!"

The title of the first article, "Under the rubble of the refugee camp"
is bogus in itself.

I bet true refugees throughout the world would love
a camp made up of apartment buildings, homes and businesses.

Palestinians say it was a massacre, with anywhere between 100 and 500 Palestinians killed

How convenient. The claims at the time started at 500 and went up from there. Notice how the big slide has started?

Classic disinformation. Change the numbers so they're closer to what the IDF has acknowledged, but keep the fantasy that they were innocents instead of the armed thugs they actually were. I wouldn't believe those lying bastids if they told me the sun rose in the east.

"a camp made up of apartment buildings, homes and businesses" is what develops over the course of 50 years . . . plus hatred for the "dispossessors".
