By shifting focus to forensic questions about the bomb and shadowy government conspiracies, general government arrogance/incompetence is overlooked.

Good point, but that wouldn't prove or disprove this story. The government would lie and cover-up evidence to cover their arrogance/incompetence from discovery.

Poor Chandra found out something and now she is gone.

Condit has missed 2 grand jury appearances and nothing has been done about it.

Wonder what would happen to me if I tried that.

It makes me question the agenda of the man putting the multiple bombs theory forward not a month after the blast General Putin. Putin later testifies in the Waco lawsuit on behalf of the vicitms represent by neo-Communist lawyer, Ramsey Clark, and Andres Strassmeir's attorney Kirk Lyons.

I'll don my foil and say I told you so yet again. I can't resist, being an irrational and kookified conspiratorial type. :)

You're exactly right when you say that nothing will come of it. Why? For the same reasons nothing has ever been done before: The press is too stupid and lazy, the public too dismissive and prone to believe the simplistic promouncements of "journalists." The politicians? Too compromised and corrupt to care.

So, I'll keep beating the dead horse of Oklahoma City and tell everyone that the best course of action is to simply read all of the available material and make up your own minds. What you will find will shock you. It shocked me.

And as a gentle reminder to those who are still unconvinced, I'll say once again what "the tinfoilers" have been saying all along. They were, after all, the ones who tried to remind everyone in this country that terrorist cells were operating in the United States and would hit us again. And as always, it fell upon deaf ears. And no matter how many times they're right, or how much evidence is presented, the result is always the same: it's simple offhanded and ignorant ridicule from people who have never taken the time to read any of the material. Effective propaganda, I suppose, but not very conducive to assuring our security or way of life. Stupidity can be very comforting.

I'll say it one more time, just for the record.

The FBI and the DOJ (and very probably the President himself) not only had foreknowledge of Oklahoma City, but knowingly covered up the involvement of Iraq, an enemy of America.

It has been offered that 1994 GOP election had more to do with Waco than the 1993 tax increase. Secondly, after the 1993 WTC bombing, Clinton polled weak on 'terrorism' and thus could not afford two attacks on American soil plus a Waco in one term.

Interesting. Thank you.

The following makes sense to me: Clinton didn't want to disturb the "good times"; he also hoped that, by not responding to WTC I, and OKC, there would be a bigger atrocity which WOULD rouse the populace and make him, effectively, King. Unfortunately for Clinton, Bush gets to be King instead. The Patriot Act is an abomination. It should be repealed or appealed to the USSC as soon as possible.

There's another possibility.

I'll give you MY humble working theory...(FWIW)

I think clinton knew in advance that it was going to happen, that a homemade truck bomb would do SOME damage to the bldg. I believe Clinton saw this as a golden opportunity to pin the blame on the "right-wing clinton haters", using McVeigh as poster-boy/patsy.

I believe clinton sent in black ops personell to wire the Murrah Bldg with military-grade explosives which were armed with seismic triggers. When McVeigh set off his truck bomb, it detonated the (REAL) inside bombs, and took down the bldg. Clinton then immediately went on the offensive, blaming "right-wing talk radio" (which was starting to ask hardball questions about Vince Foster, Waco, whitewater, etc) for inciting the American people into "mistrusting their government".

This halted the Contract with America in it's tracks. Clinton quickly caught McVeigh, demolished the Murrah bldg evidence. Case closed. It was the right-wing clinton hater nuts who did it.

They have every reason to cover up the truth because, IMHO they engineered the tragedy.

Still another theory.

That facts that are being uncovered only now (I guess) are really fascinating. It's obvious we don't know all about what really happened yet.

I think the right name is John Lipney, not Lepney. Is this a real name, or just an alias? My hunch is this "Lepney" fellow was likely an informant for the Feds. Just an intuition.

73 - thanks for the ping cgk. Somehow, this story just can't get any traction. Here is an old post by me, from an even older story by mcV. It's all pretty well outlined, and still they cover it up. More clinton coverups.

sorry, I forgot to post the link - McVeigh's Mandamus -- March 25, 1997 OKC and the Arab connection This is the initial pleading from the lawyers McVeigh fired. Sorry, I can no longer get the original source link to work. Search this document on Iraq and Philippines for the connection, back in 1997.
