Students Singled Out Before Peers for Belief that Homosexuality is Wrong

A school district in California is facing a federal lawsuit after representatives from Planned Parenthood were brought in to address a health class without parental notice.

School administrators at Arcata High School invited guest speakers from Planned Parenthood to address the freshman class. The topic to be covered was sexual education -- but more specifically, "homophobia" and homosexuality.

Brad Dacus of the Pacific Justice Institute says what took place during the class amounted to religious-based harassment.

"Planned Parenthood put all the kids in a circle and then they would ask them questions. If they answered the questions correctly, the children got to leave the circle and watch and look and stare at the quote-unquote ‘intolerant’ kids inside the circle," Dacus says.

"Inside the circle, the final question asked of the children was, ‘Do you have religious beliefs that ... homosexuality is a sin and therefore wrong?’ There was [sic] three girls who were left in the middle of the circle feeling very demeaned, very put down."

Dacus says such exercises are all too common in California schools. "These kinds of programs are becoming the norm, not the exception," he says. "They’re becoming much more the rule, and that is why it’s so important to protect our children from this kind of stigmatizing trauma that’s taking place against Christian kids with Christian family backgrounds."

Dacus says the exercise violated both state and federal law when it was performed without prior written parental consent. The parents of at least one Christian student are considering legal action against the school district.

This absolutely burns me up. I *do* hope legal action is taken by the Christian kiddos.

Shameless homeschool bump

Manipulative and intimidating; if it were my child I would take her out of that school if I could. I hope the Christians children understand the difference between homosexual tendencies and homosexual acts, only the latter being sinful.

Don't take them out. Sue them until they can't see straight.

Musical chairs are out because they don't like to hurt the feelings of the losers but insensitive games are in. And the lawyers take all.

Let's face it -- The NEA's public schools have become a Church for the advocacy of Homosexuality as its religion. Sex IS its "holy" sacrament -- and d@mn the objection of parents. Period.

Thank you Dubya for obscenely rewarding the NEA and public schools for this type of "education" with further funding.

Life Imitates the Onion:

SAN FRANCISCO—Spokespersons for the National Gay & Lesbian Recruitment Task Force announced Monday that more than 288,000 straights have been converted to homosexuality since Jan. 1, 1998, putting the group well on pace to reach its goal of 350,000 conversions by the end of the year.

"Thanks to the tireless efforts of our missionaries nationwide, in the first seven months of 1998, nearly 300,000 heterosexuals were ensnared in the Pink Triangle," said NGLRTF co-director Patricia Emmonds. "Clearly, the activist homosexual lobby is winning." Emmonds credited much of the recruiting success to the gay lobby's infiltration of America's public schools, where programs promoting the homosexual lifestyle are regularly presented to children as young as 5.

Above: Lansing, MI, fifth-grade teacher Margaret Gerhardt. Gerhardt's is one of countless elementary-school classes across the U.S. in which the homosexual agenda and lifestyle are actively promoted.

"It's crucial that we reach these kids while they're still young," Emmonds said. "That's when they're most vulnerable to our message of sexual promiscuity and deviance."

"When I grow up, I want to be gay," said Christopher Linn, 8, a second-grader at Philadelphia's Lakeside Elementary School, one of thousands of public schools nationwide that actively promote the homosexual agenda. "I don't want to have a family or go to church."

"Straight people don't have any fun," said Teddy Nance, 11, after watching Breeders Are Boring!, an anti-heterosexual filmstrip, in his fifth-grade class at Crestwood Elementary School in Roanoke, VA. "Gay people get to do whatever they want."

In addition to school programs that target youths, the NGLRTF launched a $630 million advertising campaign this year in an effort to convert adults to homosexuality. The campaign, which features TV and radio spots, as well as print advertising in major national magazines, has helped convince thousands of people to leave their spouses and families for a life of self-gratification and irresponsibility.

"The gay lifestyle is for me," said James Miller, an Oklahoma City father of four who recently moved to Provincetown, MA, to pursue a career in bath-house management. "When I was a family man, I constantly had to worry about things like taking the kids to Little League practice, paying for their braces, and remembering my wife's birthday. But now that I'm gay, I'm finally free to focus all my energy on having non-stop, mind-blowing anal sex."

Though Emmonds said gays have been tremendously successful in tearing at the fabric of society and subverting basic decency, she stressed that their work is far from over.

"For all the progress we've made, America is still overwhelmingly heterosexual," said Emmonds, who is calling for an additional $2.6 billion in federal aid to further the gay agenda. "If we are to insidiously penetrate American society, as we constantly do each other's orifices, we need more money and resources. Without such help, this country will remain the domain of decent, moral, God-fearing Christians. And that would be a sin."

What's PP up to, advocating homosexuality as a new form of birth control? Are they still getting tax money?

If that's the case, it ain't working as "Fox And Friends" reports that Rosie O'Doughnut's "girlfriend" is pregnant. "Mancow" asked if Rosie is sure it's her's.

Yup. The only way to stop these people is to DESTROY some of the individuals, to literally ruin their lives through lawsuits. Only then will the evil ones back off, because nothing matters more to them in the end than the idea of losing their cash.

It doesn't suprise me... Nothing that happens in government schools would suprise me today, except if they actaully taught "reading, writing, and `rithmatic."

A few weeks ago, at a grade school in KCMO, someone had lost a $5 bill. The teachers decided to strip search these children! One male and one female teacher were involved. The female teacher was given early retirement (she would have retired at the end of the school year), and the mail teacher is still on paid leave... There has been NO punative action taken against either teacher!

Wasn't it Arcata where the local Green ticket was elected, but the Greens were embarrassed to have won because they admitted they didn't have a clue how to govern the town and didn't expect to win? Arcata is home of Humboldt State U, where a major in tree-hugging is offered. Probably.
