It's too bad in a way. This was one of my favorite bands of all time. Layne's voice was excellent, and had quite a range. Still, people have been predicting this guy's death for years now, so it's not very surprising......and I don't see how his death makes the world that much safer....it's not like he was out beating the crap out of people or doing anything more than vegging in his house.

Perhaps his early, lonely death will convince the people he's influenced not to follow the same path he did.
