This is going to get flamed and probably already has been. The way is view it, is if they realize that liberalism/socialism is bad and they realize that conservatism is the right track, then welcome. I am a conservative Catholic, but my approach to the matter is, don't tell me, I don't want to know. That being said, I don't feel being gay is a sin, but acting on it is. But it isn't my place to judge. As Jesus said, let he who is without sin cast the first stone, and well, I have sinned, so I won't judge them. God Bless

There's quite a difference between saying than man is born evil and that man is born with an inclination towards evil. If one was to say that man was simply born evil then sin would bring man closer to God, as man would simply be living out the purpose for which he was created. Rather, if you say that man has an inclination towards evil this necessarily implies that he also has an inclination towards good, and that encouraging one over the other is God's plan. It is no mistake that sin is viewed as unnatural.

Man cannot be "born evil" because God created him "good." If man were inherently evil as your first post suggested, than he would hardly be worth sending Christ to die for. Our fallen nature does not change fundamental goodness of man because no one, save God, has the power to recreate man.

I'll go with that.
