Why is Vandy allowing someone who dropped out of their law school, divinity school, etc. to teach there? I hope this doesn't help their ratings any.

"America is only as healthy as the air our children breathe, the water they drink and the earth they will inherit..." And the bombers we keep out of our shopping malls, and the missiles we knock down before they strike our shores, and terrorist-sympathizing immigrants we reject at our gates.
Because without these things, there won't be an earth left to inherit.

Maybe his mother sang that as a lullaby to him when he was grown, also .... hehe!

"He wrote the environmental book "Earth in the Balance" while vice president under Bill Clinton." Is this correct? I thought he wrote it BEFORE.

Hope his handlers made sure the a/c was on full force this time. Of course, as an Enviro Whacko you'd think the audience would have to put up with a sweaty, smelly Al, but don't forget this is the Al Gore team that altered a river's natural flow so as to not mess up a photo op.

Good gawd, stick a sock in it Albore!!! Unfortunately, we're going to have to listen to three more years of Al Gore lecturing us like this. This guy won't finally go away until Bush beats him a second time in November of 2004.

"What kind of world are we building when parents of little leaguers have to be more worried about them catching their breath than catching a fly ball?"
This could well be the stupidest, most pandering line I have ever read from a political speech my life. WHAT a doofus!
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Just a thought, but maybe (just maybe) the Earth, specifically the effects on air temperature, would be a cooler place without algore in it...
1. We wouldn't have to deal with his HOT AIR!
2. The warmth generated by his arm pits themselves would decrease the mean temperature on the "Third Planet" by at least 2 full degrees
3. No more hot, steamy, wanna-be love scenes with Tipper
Don't belive me? Ok, FREEPERs, let's see the photographic evidence!

Gore thinks he's so cute and creative with stupid statements like this. HE SINCERELY THINKS that people think that he's funny, that people say, "catch their breath, catch a fly ball, what a creative use of words!" What an idiot. He's embarrassing himself.

So true. And the people listening and wildly applauding these horrifyingly bad speeches are embarassing themselves more.

Everytime Algore is quoted in the Press, It should be lead with the Title as "Slumlord Al was quoted today..."
