Ward Connerly is about to take his quest to the next level.
Connerly is the University of California regent who for years has endured the vitriolic hatred of the left in his courageous crusade for a color-blind society.
On Friday, Connerly's American Civil Rights Coalition presented nearly a million signatures on petitions that would let Californians vote on one of the most far-reaching measures to keep government out of the race-data business.

That's terrrific news! And the best part of it is that the students earned their place, fair and square. No one's looking at them wondering if they were given a break others weren't.
I hope that Ward Connerly takes this battle all the way to the top and that in the the next census form, there is no section dealing with race.
