She lives with her husband in Canada. Well, that disqualifies Wendy McElroy as a feminist right away...

Is her husband a male? I doubt it.

The above account is an interesting illustration of terrorism hijacking altruism, masquerading as financial engineering.

Wendy does a lot of good work in exposing feminist miscreance...

"Is her husband a male? I doubt it."

Methinks you didn't read the article and have simply knee-jerk posted to see yourself in actual print.

Wendy McElroy is one of the most conservative, anti-abortion, pro-marriage, pro-man, pro-boy, pro-family women writing about feminism today. If you haven't figured it out, she's also pro-woman, which - she so skillfully points out - radical feminism is not.

There are a few organizations out there defining themselves as conservative "feminists" - these women are not to be confused with the shrill Marxist victimologists we know as the N.A.G.s. You might remember FR's dear late Barbara Olsen, who counted herself among conservative feminists at the Independent Women's Forum.

Next time, read before you post.
