Owls and crows have a particular animosity towards each other. I've never seen or heard of the owls eating anything other than the hatchlings. Crows do the same to other birds.

Interesting! Perhaps they don't taste good. There is a particular negative connotation to "eating crow," but I didn't think that owls would care.
