Reports of people killed in school shooting
Reports are coming in that several people have been killed after a gunman opened fire inside a German high school.
Police said the gunman is holed up in a classroom at the Gutenberg Gymnasium school in the eastern city of Erfurt.
The school has been sealed off by police.
Police are sending special commandos to the scene.
German newspaper Bild says on its website that the gunman is holding a number of people hostage in a room.
There are 750 students at the school.

The press told me so!
Well, they'll use this incident to take away what guns remain in the hands of law-abiding citizens, just like Britain & Australia. THAT should take care of the problem, right?
there probably gonna blame this on guns and heavy metal..

Three shot dead at German school
Three people have been killed in a school in east Germany after a gunman burst into the building and opened fire. Two teachers and a policeman were shot dead in the attack, which started shortly before 1100 (0900 GMT) at the Gutenberg school in Erfurt, police spokesman Klaus-Peter Pohl told BBC News Online.
Police are currently surrounding the school, where the gunman is believed to be holed up in a classroom.
Six people are reported to have been injured.
"His identity is not yet clear. He may be a student, a former student or a total outsider," said Mr Pohl.
Initial reports say no children were injured in the attack and the majority of the 750 pupils have been evacuated from the building, a grammar school for pupils aged between 10 and 19.
However, there are reports that there are still pupils remaining inside.
A local radio station has reported that some of them may have been taken hostage.
A passer-by told German television he had seen a banner hanging from a window with the message: "Help!"
A local courtroom has been set up as a meeting point for parents and children.
The incident resembles a similar attack just two months ago in southern Germany, when a disgruntled former pupil opened fire in his old school, leaving dead and wounded behind.
The 22-year-old man killed the headmaster of a school in Freising near Munich, before blowing himself up.
Three Shot Dead in German School Bloodbath

ERFURT, Germany (Reuters) - Gunmen killed two teachers and a police officer in a German school Friday and barricaded themselves in a classroom with 28 students, police said.
Six others were wounded by the attackers, who entered the high school in the eastern German city of Erfurt and fired their weapons wildly, police and an eyewitness said.
A policeman at the scene said the gunmen were in a classroom with 28 children, two of whom were seriously injured. They were armed with pistols and a long-barreled weapon, police said.
"Members of our special forces are getting ready to storm the school, a police spokesman said.
A radio reporter in front of the school said the attackers were wearing masks. A paper note with the word "Help" hung from a window and a woman peered out.
"I talked to a 10-year-old pupil who said, 'The gunmen were shooting wildly around us and there was blood everywhere,"' the reporter said.
About 700 students between the ages of 10 and 19 attend the Gutenberg secondary school in Erfurt, a 19th century building.
Several teenage students were being treated for shock in local hospitals, medical officials said.
In February, a man shot dead three people and injured another near Munich before killing himself in what appeared to be a revenge attack on a company that had sacked him and on his former school.
Erfurt, in formerly communist East Germany, is the capital of the federal state of Thuringia. It has a population of 197,350.
This could get really ugly.
