Third World nations are dumping their chaff onto our American shores at the highest rate in history thanks also to GWB and his recent amnesty to illegal aliens.

Care to cite the bill or executive order? I think the idea was floated prior to 9-11 but I never saw any bill pass congress.

Are you living on another planet? I suggest you get yourself informed and do your own research prior to asking asinine questionSince you are calling names here goes.

You claimed Bush granted amnesty to illegal aliens. I'm not against calling Bush on the carpet for wanting to grant amnesty but I never saw an article (and lord knows I spend more than enough time on FR to have spotted it) or a report on TV stating that he signed an E.O. or that congress passed and he signed a bill.

I'm not in favor of amnesty, even if for some unknown reason to me, it ends up helping the Republicans.

So instead of calling me names for asking a question maybe you should back up what you typed. Or maybe your public debating skills are no better than Bob Beckel's.

The following is reproduced in the article which this thread is supposed to be discussing:

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Quoted from The Washington Times 23 Mar 02 by Bill Sammon

"After his speech, Mr. Bush met with Mexican President Vicente Fox, who wants the United States to expand its guest-worker program for Mexicans and grant amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens. Mr. Bush agrees with the proposal, but acknowledges the American public would not support granting blanket amnesty to the several million Mexicans who are living in the United States illegally.

"A senior administration official said a bill before the U.S. Senate granting amnesty to 200,000 of those Mexicans is part of an "incremental" approach to the immigration issue. The official was asked by The Washington Times if that means the president favors an even-greater relaxation of immigration rules that stops short of blanket amnesty . . .

"During a joint news conference last night with Mr. Fox, Mr. Bush made clear that he considers the bill before the Senate, known as 245(I), to be merely a first step in a broader effort to give special treatment to Mexican illegals.

"'Beyond 245-I, which is the family reunification act, is first of all understanding the unique nature of the Mexican in our country,' he said. 'The Mexican national is different by virtue of the fact of proximity to the United States.' . . .

"Prior to the terrorist attacks of September 11, Mr. Fox had called for looser immigration laws by the end of last year. This was viewed as politically advantageous to Mr. Bush, who has long courted Hispanic voters.

"But after the attacks, the American public called for stricter, not looser, control of borders. Recognizing the altered political landscape, Mr. Fox has instead called for expansion of guest-worker programs and amnesty for a smaller group of illegals.

"'This type of policy was tried in the 1950s and 1960s and touched off massive permanent illegal immigration to the United States,' said Dan Stein, executive director of the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

"'The alternative that Fox is offering relies on the revival of a failed guest-worker program that has served the interests of neither the United States nor Mexico,' Mr. Stein said. 'As enticing as the words 'temporary' and 'guest worker' might sound, we know from experience in this country and elsewhere around the world that there is nothing temporary about these schemes.' "

Thanks. That's the type of stuff I've seen on this subject. Lots of pols for amnesty, bills before congress, double talk galore, but I've yet to see a bill passed and signed.

The other poster got ticked off because I asked him/her to cite a bill that passed and was signed and called me asinine and something else I can't remember. If anyone else believes an amnesty bill has been passed and signed or even a pocket veto (I searched on FR and couldn't find any such article) feel free to let me know.

Why debate with idiots? History will have to be their teacher.

What I am concened with here is not just Mexican immigtation that existent citizens will be required to finance to produce a de facto separate nation within the United States. There is also the problem of ambitious or lamebrained political figures, including George Bush, now blithely assume, that's assume, other people's lives and productivity are theirs, unconditionally, to command without permission of the people being used, or commanded through permission from others susceptible to being used, or with permission derived from leftist sociopolitical theories. Political systems thinking has obliterated any consideration of the rights to individual independence.

That's almost a given in today's reality, and why I built an ocean crossing steel sailboat.

I just hope that my children are still able to find pockets of freedom as they become adults.

One of the most Cogent articles I have read recently.
I will always give RLK a BTTT.

The hordes of irrational, deluded, marxist parasites will now proceed to destroy the USA, western civilization (what's left of it), and the human race (with the help and incouragement of US and EU politicians).

GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME

The individual producers of humanity are now destroyed. (I have voluminous first-hand evidence of this...)

I am (literally) sick of it.

The fact is that the parasites of US society now vastly outnumber the producers.
The very sad fact is that these don't know WHAT it takes to produce ANYTHING, because they have never produced ANYTHING.

If fact, they are taught that PRODUCING THINGS is harmful to the environment (in some unspecified way), and since they (unquestionably) believe this, they have lost the right to survive.

I can raise chickens, and grow fruit/vegetables in an extremely remote location. Self-sufficient fish/prawn farming is also an option, but requires a modest capital outlay.

Industrial society will now end because the vast majority of people are fat, parasitic and astoundingly stupid.

The best Individual human minds are that which kept you alive. Many of these have now been severly damaged by your tyrannical stupidity. We now turn our attention to our own personal health and recovery.

Kiss your government-subsidized lifestyle goodbye.

I don't believe any of these "politicians" are stupid....I believe they all have one agenda...that would be to manipulate and brainwash the masses into accepting complete alliance to a BIGBROTHERTOTALITARIANRULE...ONEWORLDORDER...call it what you will...the agenda is the same...control, power, servitude, docility, mindlessness,ignorance..the destruction of what is good, pure, true and just.....so a republican/democrat....they are all the same...I call them evil....idontvoteforanyofthem
