Who knows, maybe the press are idiots. It seems that way since I used to have to drive Highway 6 for school and Waco is not near Abilene. Wish it was though, the drive to Lubbock would have been alot shorter. Abilene has a large airbase, so you'd think anyways that they would land there if it was indeed where they landed for a 5 hour drive to Crawford.

Yea, they do have a bit of a facility at Abline, myself and a few peers pulled off a little old opfor op against the 419 RCOM at the old range there at Buffalo Gap. 28 of us and 156 of them. Fortunatly our CO was Bob H. We Kilo Alpha'ed three times in about 24 hours after climbing the cliff that is the backstop of the range. They were on top, we started at the bottom at midnight. Right about dawn they had a BIG suprise. Didn''t look good on their ARTEP. Ah... the good old days...
