A timely quote for this thread. Count me in as a "Bush babe."Well, you are in good company here!
And thank you for the complete quote. It's my second favorite quote in my favorite novel.........my favorite is, of course the final quote......"It is a far, far better thing that I do than I have ever done....."
I sincerely feel that the world situation is without a doubt the worst that it has been in my lifetime, but I have never had more confidence that the man whom God has put in the White House is the best man to deal with the enormous problems we face.

Ohio, I heard Dick Morris(I know, I KNOW!) on C-Span 2 last night saying the most bizarre thing--about how the American people view Pres. Bush as SOLELY a warrior against terror. They trust him completely on that, but on very little else, according to Morris. He said poll after poll proves they don't want Bush to address ANY domestic tough & contentious issues, from Social Security to Energy to Environment to Budget, etc. They want only one thing from him--prosecute a terror war, thereby warding-off terror attacks. About their views domestically, they don't want Bush or Repubs trying to fix anything, they want Congress & the Democrats. They'd rather have a Clinton or Gore, if not for terrorism. As an admirer of his morality, leadership, character, personality etc. not to mention Laura--what is your take on Pres. Bush as a leader OVERALL for America(& in light of Morris's odd- sounding statements)??? I'm interested.....Really
