"Stolen Valor" was a good book when it came to exposing frauds, but it was absolutely wrong about Agent Orange.I know firsthand.I don't think the author's motives were bad-he was just relying on poor advice and didn't go far enough in researching his sources on that particular subject.

"Stolen Valor" I can't stand people like him. Glad he got caught. I believe there was a book on sale at the Pentagon book store by that title a few years ago. It was an account of the scores of individuals who were exposed as charlatans parading as Vietnam, Grenada, Gulf War, or other vets--when they clearly were flunkies or imposters.
Many of these people duped respected organizations and/or people. They were known to bring tears to the eyes of audiences with their stories---just one problem--they were false.
These people are beyond reprehensible. They crawl into the suit of honor that they are not even fit to touch.

I can admire some con men, at least those who do not rip off or harm innocent people. But con men like this guy, who pretend to be military heroes, make me want to puke. I hope this guy gets smacked down into the gutter where he came from. Unless there is a whole lot more to the story that nobody knows.
