Dittos on that. I know Denzel did a great job, but I just liked Morgan better.

Probably the same reason I like Sam Elliot. They remind me of my old man. They ain't the biggest or the baddest, but they just might be the toughest!

Freeman has more common sense than Rush Limbaugh.

"I liked him in Shawshank redemption".

I have never quite uderstood why I did't enjoy this movie as much as many of my friends. Having only seen it once, maybe it's time for another look.

Keep smiling,

Philip.

I know I speak for a lot of people when I will start watching a movie because Morgan Freeman is in it.

I figure if he is in the show, it has to be fairly decent (usually it is a murder mystery w/Ashley Judd)

Sam Elliot is great in Tombstone and the new Mel Gibson Vietnam movie, it was obvious he was having the time of his life playing the gruff Master Sargent.

And the GOP has been taking that message of self ewmpowerment to the Latino community and it seems to be working at the polls.

Hmmmmmmm, okay then who was it that kept mouthing off about W. during the elections? For some reason I thought it was Freeman. Maybe Danny Glover? I just can't remember.

And so I have another reason to admire this man.

Morgan Freeman also played the role of high school principal Joe Clark in ?Lean on Me? or ?Stand by Me? Mr. Clark was a no-nonsense traditional values principal who I believe turned the Newark NJ high school around.

I'm not much of a moviegoer and usually don't even remember actors' names, but I've been a Morgan Freeman fan since Glory. Liked him in Shawshank Redemption and Driving Miss Daisy also.

Don't forget Se7en as an excellent one from him. Great work by the unbilled Kevin Spacey at the end too.

Don't forget to check all of Morgan Freeman's movies.

“We always speak about the duality between whites and Afro-Americans, but it seems to me that the questions now are about the Latinos and Asians. Nobody speaks for them.”

Huh. Well that's a first...

Yeah I always dug Freeman too... Makes a good cop...

I was about to say the same thing. The ones I see don't need any help from Bush or Daschle.

I always liked Morgan Freeman. He was my favorite on Electric Company.

Sing with me - "We're gonna turn it onnnnn, we're gonna bring you the powerrrr..." ;)

I know what they say - that nobody knows who he is - but did anyone ever figure out who Spiderman was?

Okay, I'll stop now...

Bush is a perfect president, if you like socialism. He just proposed yesterday a new "entitlement" that senior citizens will have. A drug card. Liberals love Bush, because he is one of them.
