I will trust and respect a leader of honorable sterling character. In the case of ex-#42 he had not earned trust and respect based on his serial lies, his prideful admission that he abhorred our military and that the Constitution, and the Rule of Law was something he found obstructed his arrogant thirst for ultimate unbridled power.
