Great question:-) If I ran the zoo, I would use Afghanistan as a launching pad for a surprise liberation of Iran...then sweep through to Iraq. We'd have to do it with small groups and air power, similar to Afghanistan, so we didn't present too much of a target for Saddam's SCUDs. By the time we got done, Saudi Arabia, Syria and the other unfriendly Arab regimes might be in more of a mood to start moving toward more free, democratic societies...
