Bi-lingualism is now a job requirement in Dade County, Fl. How long before it's nationwide?? I don't think I'm being alarmist!! Just a realist....

My niece, an outstanding elementary school teacher in the San Diego area who knows Spanish, is being laid off because her Spanish skills are deemed insufficient to conduct classes in Spanish. Yes, bilingualism now means teaching in Spanish.

I like to see some discrimination lawsuits filed in California and Texas regarding in-state tuition for illegal aliens. My son, being an American citizen is not being afforded the same benefit that these states would grant an illegal alien. If that is not discrimination then I don't know what is.
