I used to work in Indonesia for several years. and am quite familar with the conditions in East Timor. This is the perfect assignement for Clinton (a close second would be negotiating peace among all the Somali warlord's). Remember not that many years ago one of the Rockerfellers was killed and though to have been consumed in Indonesia not that far away from Clinon's end of the thankless bone of an assingment. Actually if successful Bush should might well offer him the Ambassadorship to the new East Timor country (and we would never see or hear from Clinton as long as he held the post). r.
