Actually, the only thing in freedom's favor is government inefficiency. Anyone who has dealt with the Feds--including illegals and terrorists--knows they lose data, misplace files, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, et cetera.
The hard question for freedom-loving Americans is, do you want your government to be more efficient? Tough call.

Actually, the only thing in freedom's favor is government inefficiency. Anyone who has dealt with the Feds--including illegals and terrorists--knows they lose data, misplace files, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, et cetera. . . . . The hard question for freedom-loving Americans is, do you want your government to be more efficient? Tough call. There is a downside to the government's inefficiency. If some clerk somewhere accidentally mishandles your data, you may find that you are "deceased," or that you never existed at all. Suddenly, you cannot cash a check, use a credit card, get a job, or travel abroad. Only after considerable time, effort, and expense are you able to correct the error. And of course, you will not be permitted to sue the government for damages.
