Janes, the Forward, Le Monde, Fox News, the Palm Beach Post, the Washington Times, Insight Magazine, the Florida Sun Sentinel and others who have carried would not have reported it if there was nothing here.

What is the next excuse? Guilty under proven innocent in a court of law? That worked fairly well for Lanny Davis, James Carville, Vic Kamber and the crew when they defended Clinton.

I never got the impression that he was trying to fool anyone. Posting sources and verifiable information to clearly show the TRUTH is not an attempt to fool. If anything, it is an obviously futile attempt to convince fools with facts and to fill in the gaps where truth has been concealed.

Now you're presented with a clear pattern of damning evidence indicating deliberate espionage against your OWN country and instead of reacting with anger to the message, you attack the messenger and fawn over the guilty.

"sheeple"? I'm not up on my pop culture jargon, so I'm not sure what your meaning is. I gather it's an attempt to cast aspersions on those who choose not to graze in your flock?

If you truely think there is "no evidence of anything", you've got your head in the sand or perhaps the wool from your flock mates has been pulled tightly over your eyes.

Just because the proffered evidence doesn't permeate your thick layer of denial doesn't mean it doens't exist. Although if you cover your ears and humm, it will make it harder to hear. Then you can go back to your comfortable illusions.

I believe it is correct in saying, that when Jim Robinson bans someone from Free Republic, that the person, not just the screen name, is banned. That means it is a violation, in both the spirit and letter of Jim Rob's house rules, to simply acquire another email addy and create a new handle.

Larrylied points out that it is amazing that certain FReepers were so quick to come to Israel's defense and say, without investigating the links and documents brought up, that these stories are all bunk. Sorry, Larry, but it works BOTH ways. You see folks, some OTHER FReepers are just as quick to, without also reading all the links, checking the varicity of the documents, sources, etc, to blame Israel for any evil in the world. BOTH SIDES can play that game. I prefer to read and think about the subject before giving my opinion. All this squabbling is just a matter of whose ox is getting gored.

Not really. When this story broke there were several on here who attempted to shut down all discussion by playing the antisemite card. That is still going on.Daily. Been posting here for 4 years. Israel and the mideast were not of interest to me. Until this story was posted several months ago and a crew descended on that thread and called people Nazis and antisemites who expressed any interest in the subject.

One merely has to scroll back on this thread to see what is occurring.

I do not agree with the idea most propagated on this forum that Israel's war is our war. My view, however, is the official US policy. We do have many Muslim allies. Our war is not a war on all of Islam. It is a huge mistake to link America too closely to Israel. It is also a mistake to trust Isrelanymore than we do any other ally.

That view is unacceptable to many on FR. So unacceptable, they refuse to even debate it but label those who hold it antisemities and "having an agenda."

This spy story is legitimate. There are questions which should be answered both by our government and Israel. It is in the best interest of both if they are answered. If they are not and those who dare to raise them are smeared as antisemites, interest will only increase. Better to take the hit and get the truth out.
