It's not like it's topical or anything. Seriously, it is amazing how a certain group immediately popped up to tell the curious on FR how to react to the allegations before anyone knew a thing about them. Then there is the "everybody does it" defense used by some. Deny it on the one hand, then when pressed pull the Clintonian excuse card.

Frankly speaking, this story has bothered me since it first came out and I am not talking about Salon. I think Carl Cameron is a great reporter... anyone remember his reports during the Bush/Gore election results? I remember the first reports of the "art student" thing back when people that were working in Federal bldgs. called the police because of these "self-described art students" were coming into the bldgs. and they told of the way some acted as though they were selling their art while the others spread out all over the bldg. and then came the report of these so called "art students" intering the DEA...I think these people were doing more than selling art!
