No I think lots of folks were deported for visa violations after 9-11, including these kids. Then again I am not paranoid by nature.

Yup, lot's of Arabs, and considering the close friendship between America and Israel, a proportionally remarkable number of Israelis were deported.

Also proportionally, very few Swedes/Danes/Italians/Irish/Brits/ Mexicans/Hondurans/Dominican visa holders were deported.

Go figure!
