Oh words have meaning to them, but their words are all lies. The Left could not exist without lies. Just by reading one of Molly Ivins's columns one can deduce that much. Better to go for the broad smear than actually have to rationally debate conservative stands. A broad smear of conservatives/Republicans as stupid, greedy, racist warmongers who want to kill minorities and starve children pretty much describes a typical Ivins column.
