Rush is a lazy man, who is pompous, arrogant, out of the political loop

Without Rush, the Dems would have kept control in '94 -- and since I have a business -- I'd probably be in some gulag.

Rush is human. He's been on the air for over 10 years and I think he has lost a step and is getting a touch of burnout. But I still listen, although I prefer it when Walter Williams subs.

Rush is wrong on Dubya but that doesn't make him some freedom-hating lefty.

Rush and his avid followers helped to elect Clinton by not supporting Bush 41. They put principle over politics and made all of us principled runners-up (i.e., losers). Never put principles or anything else over politics. Politics trumps principles -- conservative or otherwise! You have to win elections to have political power. A left leaning Republican is far better than a real Liberal any time, any place, any how, any way.

Yes, Rush helped with the '94 elections. Did you see the date, from whence I said he lost me ? Three or four years ago, is well AFTER 1994. Bob Grant, the father of Conservative talk radio , especially in the N.Y. tri-state area, has been on the radio , for more than four decades. He started to lose it, after three plus decades, and only after a massive, all out, lefty attack , on many fronts ( far worse than anything ever tried on Rush ) got him fired from WABC. He came back, on WOR, but much subdued. Rush hasn't that excuse.

Rush is human, and far more falable, than some are willing to admit. Before he married Marta, he was fat hermit, who NEVER went anywhere. He spent his time actually working and doing research. He had a " fire in his belly " ! Then, slowly at first, post Marta, he became less inerested in doing all that, and went out ! Low and behold, instead of poltics, current events, and funny bits, it was " I went here". " I went there ", I had dinner with / played golf with / bought this / bought that ! " His T.V show was always far better than the radio show and then that was over . Newt ceased to whisper in his ear . Instead of three days late, the news from FR threads, that he used , would be a week, or a fortnight late, and he'd break off, to talk about himself. Now, it's Bush bashing, without let up. He's doing no one any good.

Oh, he'll be back, praising Bush to the skies, come the 2004 election cycle. This bashing is all hyperbole and mostly an act ; that's what I object to.
