I applaud you for having the courage of your convictions to vote for who you really believed in. I also admire Howard Phillips though I'm a Libertarian and vote a straight Libertarian ticket.

Thanks, Seanc623. I may get unconfortable enough to change parties one of these years... With the pace of my dissappointments, the wait may not be all that long.

Please take it from one who's been down the same path you're going down now... the Republicans will never change because they don't have to. Believe me they've done the math (just like the Democrats have done with respect to Nader and the Green Party) and they know that conservatives, Constitutionalists and Libertarians are expendable in the grand scheme of things. Respect yourself and start voting for the people you really want and agree with. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste any more time voting for people who don't want the same things you do.
