The ConservativeNewsService.com has a story about how extreme environmentalist wackos, anti-war protesters, radical homosexual activists and liberal politicians are hitting the road for a democracy tour this summer intended to sow the seeds of leftist activism in America's heartland. They're calling this the "Rolling Thunder Down Home Democracy Tour," and they're billing it as a "county fair with guts."
Of course, they won't say it's a "liberal" event. They couch their extremist agenda with the words "progressive and populist." They're out there in the heartland. They're digging into our area of the electoral map - the so-called red states. They're trying to infuse and politicize people with their perverted view of things. Columnist Alan Caruba says that the tour is just a propaganda campaign.
Caruba says the only thing that the greens and leftists have is their capacity to generate propaganda. He said the tour is going to mislead the very people it aims to reach: farmers, families and young people, who may not be familiar with the liberal agenda. No kidding! We highlighted a lot of cases of Democrat hypocrisy on Wednesday, but the point is not that they're hypocrites. This is known. The point is that they get away with it because their hypocrisy is never highlighted or illustrated by their associates in the mainstream press.
Now, why would their associates in the mainstream press, their willing accomplices, highlight it? They wouldn't. You won't hear what you hear on this program anywhere else. You won't hear this in the mainstream news. You will not hear it on ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN. They'll photocopy the same newscast over and over, with the identical liberal slant. If you miss one of those newscasts, it doesn't matter, because you can catch the others or read the Washington Post or New York Times. But if you miss this program, you'd better get here to RushLimbaugh.com, because you won't hear this stuff elsewhere.

I resent their use of "Rolling Thunder". "Rolling Thunder" should be reserved for use 1) by folks who leveled part of North Vietnam and 2) by folks who will be riding motorcycles in D.C. this Memorial Day weekend.
One thing that steams me about this is that many people associate the name "Rolling Thunder" with the vets' group and patriotism, which this group decidedly is not.

Why FGS??
You're one of those Americans with a hyphenated name, huh?
Who'd a thunk it? :o)
Cheers back at'cha.
Hope your respite was a good & relaxing one.
I'm about due for one of those, myself.
Y'know, the title of this should read, "Red Dems To Invade States."
...but then again, since when did accuracy count for anything with our Lamestream.
HA!
...the similarities -- a mere coincidence? {g}
