So Sen. Daschle has a problem with the GOP selling photos of President Bush? Landmark Legal Foundation has photos of the leader of the Senate using federal employees to conduct a tour of Mt. Rushmore as part of a fundraising event sponsored by the Senator.
Go to http://www.landmarklegal.org and click on "Latest Developments," then click on "Other" and view the photos of Senator Daschle at Mt. Rushmore.

He uses two different techniques when giving the press a photo-op speech:
He has them squat down low (or maybe even dig a hole) and shoot upwards at him (no joke about the squating).
-or-
He has some sort of boost to stand on. Typically some of his aides will cut down a tree and let him stand on the stump. Thus the term, stump speech or stumping. Just don't call him "Stump" Daddy...
