How the Left Undermined America's Security
FrontPage Magazine ^

Pointing the Finger
David Horowitz's Notepad

It figures.  The guilty ones are always the first to point the finger. Now the same Democrats who slashed the military for eight years, crippled the CIA, blamed America for every enemy that attacked it-- these same appeasers of the political left are now in full war cry against President Bush hoping to pin him with responsibility for the 9/11 attack. continue?

How the Left Undermined America's Security
By David Horowitz

One of the obvious causes of the many security lapses preceding the World Trade Center attack was the post-Vietnam crusade against U.S. intelligence and defense agencies starting with the Church Committee reforms in the mid-Seventies and led by "anti-war" Democrats and other partisans of the American left. continue?

I don't care what establishment historians say, Joe McCarthy, J. Edgar Hoover and James Angleton were right.

Anybody remember that Klinton had the FBI and CIA to divert critical intelligence resources from actual spying to going after music and movie piracy to help his Hollywood friends?

What I remember most is Clinton pardoning murdering terrorists and not a sound heard from the left in this country except cheering.

No one is more responsible for 9/11 than Bill Clinton. His total weakness and vacillation encouraged and emboldened Al-Qaeda and other groups until the unthinkable happened.

Here's another interesting thing from Front Page Magazine.

How the Left Voted to Undermine America’s Security
By Terry Cooper

Here’s a scorecard that details how congressional leftists voted to cut funding to America’s intelligence community prior to September 11. Click here to see how the Democratic Leadership voted, and click here for a look at how the Republican Leadership voted.

On January 20, 2001, George W. Bush was sworn in as the 43rd president of the United States. Within months of taking office, he ordered a new strategy for combating terrorism that would be more than just "swatting at flies," as he described Clinton's policy. The new plan reached the President's desk on September 10, 2001. It was "too late," as columnist Andrew Sullivan wrote, "But it remains a fact that the new administration had devised in eight months a strategy that Bill Clinton had delayed for eight years."

What policy should have been in place, and when should it have been implemented? (Let the Klinton supporters answer this one very carefully.)

I did the mass email thing...Very cleansing...I'm really on the warpath to expose how bad the Clintonista's really were and how useless the Demoroids are as people in charge of my country...No quarter asked, none granted...There are great jobs in Hotel Management and the personal services industry waiting for Feinstein, McBane, and Shumer...Let's introduce them come election time, eh?

Thank you, thank you! I've sent so many of these stories out I'm losing track of which ones went & which ones didn't- but no matter; at least the info is getting out. The public and the press can't claim ignorance any longer. No place left to hide.

I was listening to Rush, just now and He also is just running with the ball...What I'm doing is alternating jokes with truth in my broadcast emails to keep my liberal friends guessing about whether they should open my emails or not:) Here is what I provided as a carrot this am...Hope you like it Padre, Are you still banging away on that abacus of a computer???

VISION OF BEAUTY A man left work one Friday afternoon. But - being payday -- instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend partying with the boys and spending his entire week's wages. When he finally appeared at home on Sunday night he was confronted by a very angry wife and was barraged for nearly two hours with a tirade befitting his actions. Finally his wife stopped the nagging and simply said to him,

"How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?"

To which he replied, "That would be fine with me."

Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results. Come Thursday, the swelling went down just enough where he could see her a little out of the corner of his left eye.

Pretty good joke- down South we know better than to antagonize the women-folk... they are much more dangerous than men.

Fortunately, when my wife's at work I can use the "better" PC- a 130 mhtz 486 built circa 1998. I keep trying to shake better parts out of my no-good relatives, but so far, no luck.
