That's a quick total of 176 dead and 903 wounded. This is for a nation with what- 6.3 million people? Or roughly one fortieth the size of America. That would be comparable to at least 7000 American dead and 36,000 (that's THIRTY SIX THOUSAND) wounded.

Quick, get the UN to pass another resolution condemning the Israelis for letting too many of their citizens be killed.

The LTTE Tamil Tigers are of interest since:

- They are apparently leaders in the development of suicide bomb attacks. There was a notably successful attack on the airport where two Airbus were destroyed and other civilian and miltary aircraft damaged.

- They aren't Arabs or Mulims, so they can't be motivated to suicide by the prospect of 70 virgins. They speak Tamil and are Hindu.

- They are supported by and train in India. India is fighting the war on terrorism and will hopefully liquidate the Pakistani Deobandist muslim terrorist threat along with their Wahhabi muslim Al Qaeda allies.

I'd be interested in learning more about non-Muslim suicide bombers and how they are indoctrinated and motivated to carry out the attacks.
