Yes. Hmmmmmm? That fact that anyone thought of making a donation to ANY politician on 9-11 is curious. And one of them a pilot for a major carrier.

the most ignorant person....

Now wait a minute. Remember the bl..uh..minority Congress wo..uh..person from Texas who confused the Moon with Mars?

But the Congresscritter that angered me the most with her arrogant idiocy was also from Texas from the same district as the "Moon" lady. Her name, so beloved to the media and so despised by me, is Barbara Jordan.

Maybe the more important question is, "What did her contributors know, and when did they know it?".

Her Roledex would make a great FBI Watch list.

I have to ask myself how anyone could have done anything on that day, other than stare numbly at the TV screen or try to contact relatives or make some attempt to help those in distress. How in God's name could Cynthia McKinney have gone about her fund-raising activities as if nothing had happened that day?

This is extremely interesting and should be looked into. It would be very easy to imagine a scenario wherein the hate-America Muslims rushed to offer her money to pin the blame on Bush.

To put it in perspective, 9/11 was McKinney's second largest fundraising day of the year. Second only to October 25, when she met with the pro-Palestinian leftist group "Jews for Peace in Palestine and Israel" (JPPI) at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University.

I saw a piece the other night where the FBI had gone after a bumper sticker maker because he made anti-government stickers. This donation list should be more than reason enough for the feds to get in her knickers, Big Time.

Well, I coulda put that a different way, I guess.

I believe you are referring to Sheila Jackson-Lee who has the ability to make a box of rocks resemble Albert Einstein. There is another minority congresswoman, from Californistan I think, whose name escapes me at the moment, who rivals McKinney and Jackson-Lee. She is the one whose hairstyle looks like an alien sucking out what little material that might be in her cranial cavity.

Let's see, I counted 8 each from NV and VA, 2 each from MD and CA, 1 from DC. On the second busiest day of fundraising not a single contribution from her home state of GA? Memo to CFR proponents. Want to limit contributions? Try this: No contributions from outside the candidates constituency, period.

McKinney should be called to answer a few questions about the contributions she has accepted from known terrorist organizations.

From American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us by Steven Emerson:

"Cair takes the public position that it condemns terror...in fact, Cair has often served as an ideological support group for militants...Cair has even refused to condemn the Taliban...Cair officials have defended the actions of suicide bombers...Cair has several ties to the Hamas-connected organizations...Steve Pomerantz, former chief of the Counterterrorism Section of the FBI and former assistant director of the FBI, say: 'CAIR has defended individual involved in terrorist violence, including Hamas leader Musa abu Marzook...The modus operandi has been to falsely tar as "anti-Muslim" the U. S. government, counter-terrorist officials, writers, journalists and others who have investigated or exposed the threat of Middle East-based terrorism.' Seif Ashmawy, former publisher of Voice of Peace, wrote: 'It is a known fact that both the AMC and CAIR have defended apoologized for and rationalzed the actions of extremist groups and leaders such as convected World Trade Center conspirator Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman...'"

The president of the American Muslim Foundation is Abdulrahman Alamoudi, who organized the American Muslim Council in 1990. The American Muslim Council (AMC) "...is a founder, corporate parent and supporter of several militant Islamic groups...[It] served as the headquarters of the U.S. office of the Islamic Salvation Front, a militant fundamentalist group whose U.S.-based representative was mailed pending deportation proceeding for his support of terrorism...At its 1997 convention, the AMC hosted Layth Shubaylat, a terrorist implicated in an Islamic plot to topple the regime of then-King Hussein in Jorda. Shubaylat has managed a legal defense fund for Ahmed Daqamisa, the Jordanian soldier convicted in the killing of Israeli schoolgirsl in Naharayim in 1997....In early 1995, 1995 hosted a visit by Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi. Al-Qaradawi, a renowned Muslimc cleric, has blessed 'martyrdom operations in which a given Muslim fighter turns himself or herself into a human bomb that casts terror in the hearts of the enemy...'"...At the end of January 2001 in Beirut the same Abdulrahman Alamoudi attended and participated in what the U.S. State Department called a terrorist conference with a 'destructive agenda.' The conference brought together leads of Hamas, Hizballah, Islamic Jihad and Osama bin Laden's organization." (Quoted parts are excerpts from Emerson's American Jihad.

You are probably right. The person who told me said that some folks were trying to convince him to run for County Executive in Prince George's County. PG is a logical jumping off spot for the governorship to succeed Comrade Townsend (if she wins) at some future date. As you point out, it is likely some dimocrap's wet dream.

During the debates on CFR, the dims voted to allow conrtibutions from non-citizens. If you can't vote for the person - you shouldn't be allowed to donate to the campaign.

I yield to your superior definition. In line with that, since she is the opposite of a black hole (drawing matter into itself) she radiates... liberal bovine excrement out to all of the known universe.

I think it takes about an *"SPF 9000" to protect yourself from that radiation.

*Where SPF 1000 would be enough to protect a person from the gamma rays emitted by a hydrogen bomb at a range of 1000 ft.

This was indeed stunning...and coldly, indisputably factual. I was, by the way, not surprised to find Jane Fonda on the Contributors' List: ( $ 250. on 04/18/2000. Jane lists herself as " self-employed " .)

This leads me to wonder if the Muslim-oriented contributors could be traced further, to see what other pols they have contributed to, and when the contributions were made...

This is amazing!

Here are her ten best days out of the 122 days listed. The average contribution on a listed day is about $2400.

10/25/2001 65000
4/17/2000 41550
9/11/2001 24000
11/3/2000 10000
10/12/2001 10000
5/2/2001 10000
12/12/2001 7250
11/7/2000 7000
9/11/2000 6850
10/2/2000 6000

I guess it's just a big coincidence that 9/11/2000 is on the list too.

If this isn't TREASON, nothing is.

My guess would be that CAIR and similar organizations decided, once 9/11 happened, to immediately shore up the reliability of certain favored politicians by giving them big donations. It would be very interesting to know what other politicians received donations from these people at the same time.

What determines the date of a donation? The date a check is signed? The date it clears? What if the donation is by credit card? I still have trouble understanding how donations could in fact be accomplished on 9/11, with so many offices shut.
