In the Cheney Russert interview, it was revealed that 9-11 was in retaliation for the missile attack during Monica. Clinton failed to go all the way in either scenario. What a guy!

Well, X42 wouldn't even take OBL from the Sudanese either. He was just one lousy president who deserved to be impeached AND removed from office!

I've been reading some of my post-September 11 files from USA Today column dated 11/12/2001 by Susan Paige, titled
Why Clinton Failed to Stop bin Laden to a New York Times article dated December 30, 2001, by Judith Miller, Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr., and written by Ms. Miller, titled
Many Say U.S. Planned for Terror but Failed to Take Action along with several other articles and the common theme throughout all is that Clinton had many opportunities which he ignored, had done so little to enhance the protection and defense of our national security and in some cases worked to dismantle the very agencies that needed significant upgrades.
Before the despicable grandstanding by the democrat leadership last week they should have done some more intense background study before almost tripping in their rush to the pressroom microphones to insinuate President Bush stood idly by letting thousands of American citizens die on September 11, particularly Mrs. Clinton who speaks so pompously in her "hallowed chamber" pointing to her home newspaper the New York Times headline as evidence that President Bush knew, perhaps she should read the article I just read to refresh her fading memory.
Instead, the democrat leadership choose to speak with hollowed brains.

"Was it x42 personally or Clinton admin officials??" Clinton said himself he was almost obsessed with getting bin Laden for the Terrorism he had wrought so I think it is a pretty good bet something this serious would have been brought to his attention. Clinton was afraid to rock the boat, though...Slick Willie is ultimately a yellow-bellied coward!!!

This was indeed addressed in this story on
CNN's own website.Check this out! The date of this article is September 22, 2001. Excerpt is as follows:
-------------------------------------------------------
In 1992, hardliner Khadaffy Janjalani splintered and formed the Abu Sayyaf.
His core group fanatically followed Islamic fundamentalism, but when he was killed several years later, his brother took over the leadership of the Abu Sayyaf and mercenaries joined the group, watering down its Islamic goals.
Today, the military continues its operation against the Abu Sayyaf with the goal of rescuing its latest group of hostages, including two Americans.
Although the Abu Sayyaf demanded the release of international terrorist Ramzi Yousef in exchange for its hostages last year, Filipino authorities dismiss any strong ties to Osama Bin Laden.
'Kidnap-for-ransom'
"We think the Abu Sayyaf is basically a kidnap-for-ransom gang," Presidential Spokesman Rigoberto Tiglao tells CNN.
"They have some tinge of Islamic militancy, but essentially they've become a bandit group."
But Abu Sayyaf members did receive additional training from Ramzi Yousef, who lived in the Philippines from 1994-1995.
A bomb-making expert, Yousef was one of the masterminds behind the World Trade Center bombing in 1993.
Soon after that, he began to set up a terrorist cell in the Philippines, exporting friends and relatives from the Middle East.
Three plots
A chemical fire in his apartment alerted authorities to his hideout and helped uncover three terrorist plots:
-- an attempt to assassinate the Pope during his 1995 visit to Manila;
-- a conspiracy to bomb US airliners in Asia called Operation Bojinka ("loud explosion");
-- and a plan to recruit pilots to hijack US jetliners in the continental United States and slam the planes into government and commercial buildings.
Philippine authorities turned their evidence over to the U.S. government, providing evidence which led to the NY conviction of Yousef and his cohorts for "Operation Bojinka."
While in the Philippines, Yousef traveled to the Abu Sayyaf base in Basilan and trained about 20 members in 1994.
A year later, he gathered about 20 men in Matabungkay, near the capital, Manila, and trained them allegedly to help assassinate the Pope.

Oh this is a treasure. I think this should be emailed to every media outlet, just in case the "4th estate" somehow didn't know this! (fat chance).
A few million copies mailed to Hillary! might keep her from yet another of her high school debate voiced outraged for her New Yorkers sensibilities speeches in the Senate!
These people have been the downfall of this nation, and yet the media protects them every step of the way. If not for the press, they would be in a trailor park in Little Rock roasting hot dogs from a discount supermarket.

Every body knew but Condi
She was too stupid to make sure that Bush had all the nfo.
She never read Clancys book.
Couldnt remember that small plane that crashed into the White House.
Didnt order all government agencies to present all nfo on terrorism plans.
Never heard of WTC I.
Where is the Phillipines.
Who are Yousef and Murad
I hope the families of the victims sue Condi personally for mega-bucks.

Slick Willie is ultimately a yellow-bellied coward!!! .......... obsessed with his "legacy"!

The Beast was refering to the New York Post headline which read simply "Bush Knew". Of course a more accurate headline would have been "Clintons Knew".

I don't suppose it actually occurred to anyone that if Clinton knew, Bush should also have known? That if old Billy Boy recieved information on a possible Al-Quaeda suicide hijacking attempts, GW must also have been briefed on it as well. Or, at very least, should have been briefed?
If you want to blame Clinton for what happened, that's fine, but he ain't the only one to blame now is he?

Clinton administration intelligence officials were in fact in possession of detailed information on an al Qaeda conspiracy to hijack several U.S. airliners - including a plan to crash one of the planes into the Pentagon or CIA.Finally...a Legacy!

Sorry, I don't make THAT assumption. Especially considering Clinton got it two years before the end of his watch. The only thing I fault Bush for is assigning a relatively low priority to terrorism in general. He's more than made up for it though.

Thanks for correcting me. No wonder she was gloating over that particular fact and just had to mention.
Funny though that she could recall which newspaper she got the headline. Freegards,
