Just kidding!!!Yeager said that the Paki airforce was highly professional & would be a big threat based on their performance in the 1965 war with India,where they were stocked with American & Chinese weaponry & India was still recovering from the shock of it's 1962 conflict with China.It's another fact that India would have won that war had'nt the UN & the superpowers got involved.But all this rubbish is ages old.Pakistan 28 odd F-16s are languishing for spares while India is buying tonnes of Russian,French,Israeli & British stuff.The Pakistanis developed the myth about themselves by twisting what people like Yeager said & expanding it to project superiority over the Yindoos & the Joos.

The Mig-19 is late 50s tech.You could theoritically upgrade it with modern avionics & weaponry(the Paki ones carry Aim-9L Sidewinders),but it's range & payload are pretty limited to be of great use.Besides the French or even the Italians have pretty much started to back away from Pakistan for fear of losing a much bigger market in India,so their choice of electronics will be limited.

Whew! (LOL!!! Ya got me) I dug for a moment and saw China keep the production line open till the mid 1990s.
But I would bet money on India having the more favorable out come. A old friend works all over the world on defense projects and tells me that updates and spares, hell routine maintenance is ignored in the Muslim nations.

I won't say that for all Muslim nations.Countries like Saudi Arabia & the UAE & Malaysia have plenty of cash to splurge.The UAE & Saudi Arabia have lots of Pakistanis working officially for them & they infact get the manufacturers(say Boeing,Lockheed Martin or Dassault) to send contractors to maintain their systems.These countries also regularly send their pilots to train in the US,UK & France(& Pakistani pilots do fly their planes).Raghead nations like Syria or Pakistan do face the problem of inadequate overhauling,given their lack of funding.

It will work when China DROPS it's friendship with Pakistan,it's oldest ally & the US actively supports Pakistan AGAINST India.If the Chinese drop their alliance with Pakistan,they will lose the proxy that has kept India from challenging them for decades & the Americans would lose the perfect counterbalance to Chinese hegemony,if they support Pakistan.So my answer is no,if your thinking about a cold war style military alliance.A more sensible move would be to pool their diplomatic efforts together given their common interests(oil security,global trade).India & China have far too many issues between them to become allies in any sense.
& then there is the question of terrorism,India & Russia are more less allied with the US on that.

In short,there won't be any clear alliance from now on.Germany actively cooperates with the US in Afghanistan as part of NATO,but as part of the EU,bitterly opposes it over Iraq.

I've always thought that if worst came to worst we would support India. Musharraf has been a loyal ally in the WOT, but the chances are very good that something could happen to him. Here's my own little scenario: Musharraf is taken out and the Islamofascists attack. India responds with superior air power and sends in troops to secure Kashmir against the Chinese. They in turn counterrattack. North Korea takes advantage of the conflict to attack South Korea and Japan. The Russians then get involved by attemtping another invasion of Afghanistan, targeting the large Allied presence there. The EU of course tries in vain to appease the Russians, who then invade Ukraine and Georgia. The Netherlands and Germany, having elected right-of-center governments as a reaction to rising Islamic immigrant attacks, break with France and join with Britain and Poland in counterattacking in the Balkans. After seeing their air force destroyed by the US and India, China, in order to save face, launches a preemptive invasion of North Korea and sues for peace, realizing that a prolonged conflict with the US would cost them billions of dollars in trade. Russia, now isolated and under enormous international pressure, removes Putin or his successor from power and accepts a peace deal brokered by the US and Britain.

Of course, this is assuming that WW4 (WW3 curently being the WOT) will be a conventional conflict. I believe it will, because it's not in the interests of either China or Russia to use WMDS that can affect them as well as their enemies. Pakistan and North Korea will use nukes but be completely destroyed when they do, so in historical terms this would be a short conflict.

If I were you,Id finish that post in 2 sentences!!Any such conflict would emerge due to the use of nukes & end with the use of nukes with everyone get trashed ,to varying degrees.I don't think the Chinese will hesitate to use nukes.

hi there.pak may have twice as many nukes[80-100] as opposed to india’s[40-50].but have u ever seen the globe in your life.40-50 is more than sufficient to blow up pak not once but twice.but 80-100 aint gonna do similar damage to india.naturally there would be a huge loss of life.but it simply wouldnt be as much damage as pak would have to face.BTW indian nukes range between 0.5-4 mega tons.the ones pakis have got range between 50-200 kilo tons.india nukes are simply more powerfull.

India would immediadetly use agni 5 which has a capablity of destroying 2 islamabads thus causing pak to surrender also india has 98 nukes while pak has only 86. india can deploy upto 30 nukes in aan hour compared to paks 26 nukes in an hour also india has more fission material than pak
