OR... she was at the computer for about 4 hours. Sweat pants are comfortable. She logs off, gets the call she has been waiting for, is told he'll meet her but he doesn't have much time, so she has to hurry. A car will be sent in 10 minutes to pick her up, or that he'll be there to pick her up at the curb. Be ready at the curb. (just a possibility)

I agree that sweatpants are comfortable. But if I was going to meet a guy I was crazy about or someone was going to pick me up in a car, I would not take my walkman (again, we don't know that it's hers).
