The dogs that were brought to her apartment traced her scent from her apt. down the hall, down the stairs, out to the curb and then lost the trail. Indicating that she must have gotten into a car.

Actually, this is one thing that has bugged me. Wouldn't have Chandra gone outside at all on other occasions the last few days before she vanished? I mean, just going down the corner for a latte or something. I don't know if I trust the police dogs here, well more specifically their trainers. They probably led the dogs all the way downstairs and the dogs smelled nothing outside because it was over a week later and her scent had vanished.

As much as I think it's possible she got into a car or cab that day... I find that because they found no other trace of her at all outside means her scent had vanished through time.

I might do some research on that tonight. How long would somebody's scent remain on a sidewalk anyways. It was well over a week later that the dogs were used.
