I think we can rule out shot or stabbed. Her clothing has NO visible blood on it. Forensics might be able to find some traces of blood, but it stains terribly and rain alone wouldn't wash away all visible traces.

Which increases suspicion that the guy in jail that USED A KNIFE BOTH OTHER TIMES probably isn't our guy. If he used a knife twice before and had attacked Chandra, he most likely would have used a knife again wouldn't you think?

At this point I am not really buying into the guy that is sitting in jail did this. Condit's lawyer knew about this guy last summer and even brought it up on Larry King Live. It just surfaced again because of Condit's lawyer bringing it up again. Of course the police have to check into it since the remains have been found, but something tells me that the police know more than what they are saying. The chief was asked by a reporter about the comments that Condit's Lawyer made about this guy sitting in jail now and the chief told the reporter that Condit's lawyer better check into things a little deeper and get his story straight or something to that effect. I got the impression that the police do not think that the guy that is sitting in jail now is the prime suspect. I bet they have something and they need the second part of it to nail Condit. Maybe they are hoping the remains will produce that second part. We can only hope that they took some fiber or debris samples from Condits apartment, maybe they have a pair of shoes that had dirt on them or they found rope at the scene and also found it at Condit's. Of course all this has to go through forensic's first. But we do not know what all they found yet or what they are hopig to find. Only time will tell and you bet they are going over this with a fine tooth comb as they have an expert from the Smithsonian there with them gathering evidence.

Forensics can now find blood that is not visible to the eye. It could be blood from years and years ago. They have great technology now, so if there is blood anywhere, they will find it! You are making some great points, and I agree with you.
As I stated above, the reporter says she doesn't think the DC Police think the guy in jail had anything to do with this, but I guess you never know.
