May 24, 2002 -- Washington cops revealed yesterday they're likely to seek a fifth interview with Rep. Gary Condit in the mysterious death of Chandra Levy - as a police official said whoever killed her may have first tied her up. There was no chance of a meeting with the congressman yesterday - the 54-year-old California Democrat was nowhere to be seen for a second day. He was a no-show for a House terrorism debate and skipped two votes on budget issues.

"Washington cops revealed yesterday they're likely to seek a fifth interview with Rep. Gary Condit"....

These guys are the Keystone Cops without the humor. As was pointed out on another thread these guys had 1500 man/days to search 1700 acres. That is the equivalent of about one man searching one acre per day. A four year old child on his hands and knees could do that in an hour or two, let alone a day. And these "searchers" had trained dogs also.

Another interview of Condit......maybe this time they can ask him which leather store is his favorite, or what pattern is his choice in sex ties.

Cops still have questions about Condit's alibi for the day Chandra disappeared.

I tuned in to Greta's FNC interview with Garagos last night. He was slipping on banana peels as he told Greta that he needed permission from the D.C. police before he could release Condit's latest and greatest timeline/alibi for May 1-3.

Garagos is as creepy as scary Gary.

What a load of crock. The only time line they've put out was later discredited.

I was traveling yesterday - was there a report about Chandra being tied up? Can you guide me to that story? Any other evidence revelations I missed? TIA

p.s. I did catch the skull fracture report.

Seemed to me that Garagos did his client more harm than good last night in that interview. Even Greta was having a time with his presentation.

btw--was my television color askew, or was Garagos skin tone somewhere between dark brown and dusky gray? He usually has more yellow tones. As a nurse, I found his complexion disturbing.

Yes, I thought it was off, and promptly forgot about it!--he seemed to be breathing ok, but now that you mention it...I've seen that color on liver or bowel pts...wonder if it was just bad makeup...

I saw that too, I'm thinking that maybe they found knotted ropes at the scene, hope they took lots of pictures...

The death/murder of this young woman is not a joking matter. Yet the headline "D.C. COPS WANT TO GRILL CONDIT FOR 5TH TIME" is just that; a pathetic joke.

The only thing D.C. cops are competent at doing is accepting an undeserved paycheck.

Playing word association with a D.C. cop and you'll get 'charcoal', if you say 'grill'.

Condidit has never been 'grilled', by D.C. cops once, let alone four previous times.

This media psyops is incredulously designed to lull the public into believing the big bad D.C. law enforcement is dead serious. The dead part is the only truism here.

.....and the beat goes on.

" Condit's closest friend in Congress was Republican John Kasich, who retired last year." from USAToday.com, 8/23/01.

I wonder if they've ever asked Kasich what HE knows.

Could not agree more. As a side note, Rock Creek Park is indeed 1,500 acres but it is very long and narrow. The area that runs from Condits place, the Klingle mansion and Chandra's place is much smaller.

As to Condit, I'm still liking him for the crime. Killed her by mistake maybe in a fit of passion and dumped her over the small cliff in a panic, but I still think he's the one.

Perhaps duct tape or some rope or cord

Boy howdy! - can you imagine if it was a necktie?

Neckties--too much to hope for...but if there were...in her backpack...

Remember the Smith woman telling that there was a number she was supposed to call if Gary died during "sex"? Where there would be people who would take care of his body?

From where I stand, John Kasich has been had. He sold out the troops after the '94 revolt brought fresh blood to Congress thinking he could make change from within. The stench got bad enough for him to quit.

He's been branded, and now he's only one of the herd.

He won't be back to testify about anything.
