It said the FBI had sent letters to apartment managers throughout Los Angeles (they were reporting from Studio City, next to Encino).

I think they sent out info to all apartments across the country. We received info here in the Cincinnati area also. What I received was very general and in no way helpful. It says, in part, to have on site staff be alert for things out of the ordinary. Specifically items such as gunpower, PVC or metal piping, nails, dismantled kitchen timers and gave a list of phone numbers for the FBI.

Unless the information they received in LA from the FBI was more specific, it seemed mostly just general information.

If you want to let in 40 million immigrants into this country under open immigration, then you must be willing to accept some costs.

If it's proven to be a natural gas explosion, will you believe it's a coverup? What I'm getting at is, have you made your mind up already?

No...and if you knew anything at all about my posts you would know that I am not a conspiracy guy.

It's a scary time we're living in. I live in a small town but I'm sure we aren't immune to that kind of thing even here. We had a bomb scare a number of years ago when an Aryan Brotherhood member called and said a bomb was in our building. We had to boogie out of here in a hurry. My boss at the time was a high profile African American writer and they did NOT like his comments. So, it CAN happen anywhere, not just big cities.

Did anyone ever report the cause of this explosion? I had a long wonderful holiday weekend, but was away from the news and my favorite = FreeRepublic.
