According to Fox News whatever exploded went straight up through the roof and leveled the entire building. What would do that? Natural gas would do that much damage? Or meth lab probably could?

Natural gas is mean. I have seen it level a two story house, where the largest piece of debris is a foot or two long. It degree of explosion depends on how airtight the structure was before ignition.

Recently a small one-story house (in a community near where I live) was scattered over a half mile area from a natural gas explostion. BIG boom and nothing was left standing.
