Testifying before the public school board in State College, Brown argued on spiritual grounds
Excellent piece from Rose.
I was at one of these meetings in State College (only 3 Catholics and 5 Baptists showed up at meeting, to present the Christian view, versus over 200 homosexual sympathizers or activists), but not one where Brown spoke. Bishop Adamec never spoke out against the inclusion of homosexuality as a civil right and his priests in State College ardently supported it. When the laity took out paid ads to present the Catechism sections dealing with homosexuality as well as Cardinal Ratzinger's statements, the diocesan spokesperson and the ranking priest on campus published a letter to the editor saying we did not speak in any official capacity, we took it all out of context, and to see the definitive Church teaching, see Always Our Children!
We are working on exposing coverups here too. And Michael Rose is speaking here in three weeks. We're posting billboards all over this diocese. We didn't have one close enough to the bishop's offices, so the billboard company is building a new one for us.
We're not stopping till this bishop is removed.
That's cool. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the day that the diocese dumps Mr. Brown.
