Our church left my son a long time ago and our church is driving my daughter away out of fears for her son and fears of the Criminal priests who are leading the faithful astray. My son in law just became a Catholic about a week before the current Crises created by Cardinal Law Hit the Fan,can't imagine what he is thinking...
I would guess that, like me, he feels embittered and betrayed. Some say that the worst part of the crisis is the sexual molestations (I agree on this, as sins against children are the most abominable.), and some say it's the coverups. But also horrid and soul-rending is chasing so many away from God.
