Saw the conference. I liked Wubya's Spanish response and his aside about being bilingual as well.
More importantly, President Bush is becoming more adroit at these news conferences. Now if we can correct that darn "nuc U lur" pronunciation, the DemonRats won't stand a chnace in Nov!

Actually I thought the president seemed a little off his game today.

Very good! Guess that reporter never heard of the "Don't Mess with Texas" slogan!

It was David Gregory from msnbc. You have to see it. He started out by saying four words in French, then proceeded to ask the question about the protesters. Bush chastized him about memorizing four words in French, then said two words in Spanish or French,( can't remember) and said "there I'm bilingual like you", or something to that effect. Then Bush said he say the thousands lining the streets waving etc. and admonished him again for only seeing the negative. It was priceless. French president went on to say that protesters were a very small number and was good to have protesters to hear other point of view.

Another take.
Xlinton came to office being touted as as Rhodes Scholar and highly intelligent person. Gore was a "published" environmental advocate. They went on to prove just how DUMB they really were/are.
Meanwhile Wubya continues to grow in office/stature/respect.
Guess what? America loves a come from behind winner. The liberal media painted Bush into that low "demeaning" position and as he continues to be perceived as a Statesman/Leader/Respected Executive their efforts are thwarted and he is thrust "on high!" {woof, got carried away!}

I was so angry at the "idiot" trying to make our President look bad then President Bush came back with his remark. He shot that reporter down beautifully with just a few words. It was truly a wonderful moment.....

Best part is many in the network, some of whom no doubt don't like the arrogance of any of the on air talent, are going to be laughing at him the rest of his career.

Gregory's four french words: "Je suis un idiot".

Wolf Blitzed has Colin Powell on with an exclusive interview from India.
Wolf asked a question based upon a statement from a DOS aide somewhere. Anonymous of course.
Powell said the following. "I don't know who this aide is, but this particular aide, the sec state to POTUS says the following...."
So as bad as they want to break up the chain of command, it is not working.

I remember, a few months ago, W was walking along a street somewhere shaking hands with people and some guy walked up to him and told him that he didn't think much of him (or something like that) and W responded "No one cares what you think."!

I missed this exchange but have enjoyed reading the transcript & the accounts of others who saw it.
Score another win for Super Dubya!

Both "six" (6) keys???
What Mr. Gregory doesn't understand is that anytime an American President
is subjected to protests in France, his popularity can only go up!

This was my e-mail to this idiot:
Dear Mr. Gregory:
I doubt if you will have the intestinal fortitude to read this e-mail in its entirety. Nor do I think you will have the honesty or ability to step back and objectively look at the obvious bias in your question to our President today.
But in case you do, I will simply state, in terms you MIGHT understand, the liberal agenda of the media is not only exposed but has been confirmed by one of your own. (Bernard Goldberg's book - BIAS) Please do yourself and the rest of us a favor and call yourself what you are - a liberal agenda media enabler.
Our president - I mean my president since you obviously haven't gotten over the Florida election-- has the full support of the country. He is trying to do his job........why don't you. Oh, by the way, in case you didn't know - that means YOU are supposed to report things OBJECTIVELY. Try it sometime - you might find it refreshing. I know I would.

David Gregory is a moron. He covered President Bush when he was on the campaign trail. I wonder why the hell the French suck-up didn't ask Chirac why the French are perceived as irrelevant in America. Perhaps, because he already knows the answer. What a royal prick!
