I just noticed the camera technique used for this photo. With Dashole well in front of the other two, the low camera angle puts the top of his head higher in the image than the top of the heads of the other two. I wonder if Little Tommy had forgotten his step stool.

The plot, known as "Project Bojinka" (bojinka is Serbo-Croat for "big bang")....

Oh, you mean this "Project Bojinka" ?

Washington Times. EDITORIAL. May 18, 2002

"Nearly a decade ago, in 1995, an al Qaeda plot to use commercial airliners to blow up the CIA headquarters at Langley, among other targets, was uncovered in the Philippines. It was named "Operation Bojinka," or "the big bang." As a consequence, Vice President Al Gore was appointed to head an airport-security task force. Those recommendations were eventually rejected by the White House as "racial profiling." When the investigations begin, no question should go unasked and unanswered. The Democrats might wish they had never got what they asked for."

FYI.

I sense this story is about to explode. I don't think they'll be able to keep it buried much longer.

Great article. Anyone care to speculate as to why Daschell is leading the charge for an investigation into intelligence failures? I suspect that any thorough investigation would lead directly back to the Clinton administration. So why is the Bush administration so eager to discourage one?

From Laurie Mylroie's article The World Trade Center Bomb: Who is Ramzi Yousef? And Why It Matters, published in the Winter, 1995/96 issue of The National Interest:
Individually, the pieces of this puzzle--the elusive identity and affiliation of the World Trade Center bomber; the series of explicit threats against the United States issuing from Baghdad; the question of Iraqi biological capabilities--raise troubling questions. Taken together, they provide the outline of a very frightening possibility. The lack of coordination between the Departments of Justice and State may have created a niche for terrorism within America's borders; while the lack of any adequate response to the two major bombing conspiracies may have already begun to undermine the credibility of the threat of deterrence. So far, State Department officials have been content to leave the issue of Iraq's possible resort to biological terrorism on the back burner, secure in the belief that the threat of nuclear retaliation will be sufficient deterrent. But Saddam has previously miscalculated the American reaction to his provocations. It would be reassuring to know that, somewhere in the policy-apparatus of the State Department, someone is looking seriously at the possibility of future terrorist acts and at the requirements of effective deterrence.
Did she nail it, six years ago, or what?

How can the Democrats actually condemn Bush when Clinton was so many times worse in this area? Clinton continued to look the other way after American citizens were slaughtered over and over again.
At least Bush chose to try to stop it from happening during his Administration.
Clinton was certainly not qualified to be a president. I hope Americans have learned their lesson. They must never again vote for a child in a mans body. It takes an adult to run this country, and thank goodness we have one now.

FBI forensic experts found that the huge Oklahoma City bomb, which was made from fertilizer and diesel fuel, was distinctive. In the FBI database that contains the profile and composition of some 73,000 explosions, they found only two other bombs of the same type. Both had been made by Yousef.

I can't wait to hear your rationalization for this.

Why do I even bother trying anymore!
Urea nitrate and compressed hydrogen gas WTC 1 and ammonium nitrate-fuel oil (ANFO) OKC.
So which is it FBI? Somebody needs to get their stories straight!
