High-placed intelligence sources in Washington told the Guardian this week: "There were always constraints on investigating the Saudis".

This is lame. Sources that won't go on record are worthless, aren't they? In fact, it's not above the British GUARDIAN to make things up.

All three articles you posted, with all due respect to the memory of CommiesOut, are from British newspapers, none of whom NAME SOURCES!

Patrick, the air's out of this balloon, my man.

"Sources that won't go on record are worthless, aren't they?"

That's about the epitome of guts. The government and the DNC and the RNC are the Worst users of the World Famous "un-named sources" to cover their butts or plant a story that there are in the world.

Here's part of a reply I made to one of your cohorts on another thread yesterday that also suits you here. You're all reading from the same playbook anyway ----

"You seem to take the standpoint that anything at anybody's site that has viewpoints other than the RNC's should be written by Lawyers. That isn't going to happen. This isn't a Courtroom, and the best advice you should follow is "Get Over It".

The level of "irate" about this info/viewpoint brings to mind the questions "Why is this so sensitive, and why now?", to me."

The French authors of Ben Laden: La Vérité Interdite did go on record naming O'Neill as their source. Granted, he was dead by the time their book was published. But I think it might be possible to verify their claims that they were close enough to him to get this kind of information. For example, they claim to have gone out to restaurants in New York with him. I should think that is subject to verification.

A senior F.B.I. official told me that the bureau had subsequently investigated Woods's story but had not been able to find evidence of the hijackers on the flight Woods thought he had taken. "We don't know for sure," the official said.

Why does the FBI continue to lie to us, even after September 11?

Mueller needs to start packing his bags.

No they are not, especially when they are intelligence sources. Do you really expect some CIA guy who's talking to a reporter to be quoted? Have you ever heard of "Deep Throat?"

And no, I don't mean the movie.
