Sokolsky argued that the Bush plan leaves 10 times as many operational warheads as the United States ever would need. The United States should make further unilateral disarmament cuts until it had only "a few hundred" nuclear warheads, this Pentagon "expert" argued, keeping none in reserve.

Is this guy for real? 10 times more cuts without the other siding cutting his nuke arsenal? To leave the U.S. with only about 200 hundred warheads against possibly 6000 to 9000 thousand? Nobody can be this stupid and be called an "expert." Is he a fool, idiot, communist, castro lover, American hater, ChiCom kisser ect...?

The proper number is number of targets minus attrition level. More nukes doesn't make you less bombed. 200 is too low, but 2000 vs. 9000 is merely a matter of doctrine.
