Since you are a "furriner" ( and that is meant fondly; some of us Southerners still talk that way ) you may not be aware that US talk radio has for years carried reports of the vituperative rhetoric coming from Middle East nations hostile to Israel.

The problem ( and we ran in to this time & again with the clintons depredations ) is that the news media won't talk about it. Much like the chaos & famine descending on Rhodesia ( in part their fault )-- it simply will never be mentioned.

The entertainment media in this country follows the same pattern- and this is signifigant because many, many Americans look toward entertainers, celebrities, and stars to tell them what is cool, and what is not. In short, what is important to pay attention to- and what is worthy of being ignored.

The same goes for here in Europe. Only once in a while things like this are reported. But the things Israel is doing wrong in the media's eyes are on display almost every day.

And people ask "Why do the Palestinians act this violent way?". The media wants to blame Israel, and they cannot use reports of the PA encouraging violence.
