Now, Class, what have we learned, other than that Mary Frances Berry is a damn liar.
Do we get extra credit for knowing this before the report?

Also, I hope every freeper volunteers to be a poll watcher for the next election - and all elections in the future. If we thought the RATS tried to throw the 2000 election, we haven't seen anything yet. They will pull out all the stops to win the House and keep the Senate. Don't even want to think what they will try for the Presidential election. It's time we took action. Excellent suggestion...especially important in Florida since the democRATs will be up to their usual tricks in their efforts to defeat JEB.

Thanks for the ping.

Exactly! Polls were left open late in democrat counties. Now I just wonder if that's what's being investigated or not.

Shows you what I know, (or don't). I read "Assistant Attorney General Ralph Boyd", and thought it meant he was heading up the investigation vs Ashcroft. Much the way Ashcroft has recused himself from other things when there could be the appearance of a conflict of interest.

yes, I wonder what ever became of all the chads which were gathered from the floor in the counting room.
Each represents a "changed" vote. Many were the result of making a Bush ballot illegal. This was done by making it a double vote, not just the removal of Gore chads from ballots which had no vote registered for the Presidential race. Creating new votes!
Re-count "watchers" from this area said the biggest SCAM was placing less than 100 votes in the packs marked as 100 each. They had to continually challenge the count.
Gore Bundles of 10 were counted this way... 10,20,40,50,60,80,100. The way they described it!

Actually, it's getting even worse. In my area they have schools teaching spanish to employers so that they can understand their employees. There is government grant money paying for this.
That really sucks.
To: wirestripper
That's ridiculous! I hadn't heard of that one!

Boyd heads the Civil Rights Division and reports to Associate Attorney General, Jay B. Stephens who reports to Deputy Attorney General, Larry D. Thompson who reports to Attorney General John Ashcroft.

Bump!
To: PhiKapMom
Yup, they call it "spanish for the work place". It is taught by our vocational re-hab training facility which is funded by fed, state and city money.
There seems to be no english training classes at all. I called and was told the local industries asked for it.

Thanks, the things I learn here at FR! I appreciate the info.

That is really disgusting! Just don't understand it!

Am I the only one who noticed the totally liberal B.S. phrasing in the opening sentence?
"...in the state that handed George W. Bush his margin of victory..." Also, they didn't mention those who voted despite the fact that they were CONVICTS or DEAD!
I guess it's because they weren't disenfranchised.
To: RaceBannon
No, Lieberman is the one that gets "deeply troubled." Daschle is one that gets "deeply concerned."
To: PhiKapMom
It all relates to english not being official. If we can fix that then they will be teaching english to immigrants. Without that official stamp on the english language, the feds, state and employers have to learn spanish. We have no law that says they must speak english. It is freaky!

When the story of this lawsuit was first posted, about a week ago, there were the usual suspects castigating Ashcroft and Bush, as usual not bothering to THINK about hat was being done. As we can see, we were right.
